Who are your dog walkers?
Our Waggy Tails dog walkers are first and foremost animal lovers themselves. Many of our dog walkers are currently pet parents, or have been at some point in their lives. Most of them have fostered pets, worked with local rescue organizations, and/or provided pet sitting to their friends and family, before joining Waggy Tails. Several of the walkers on our team are certified in Pet First Aid & CPR through the American Red Cross. We have walkers with different backgrounds, interests, and personalities, but their one common quality is that all are genuinely invested in the safety, care and love of animals.
How do you keep my keys, home and possessions secure?
Your security is one of our top priorities! All of our dog walkers are bonded and background checked so that you
can feel at ease with our team of professional pet care experts. Your key on file is coded and stored in a secure location, separate from any files or information which would connect the key to your address. In the highly unlikely event that your keys are lost, it is covered under our business liability insurance, and your entire house would be re-keyed at no cost to you.
Are you Insured and Bonded?
Yes, Waggy Tails Pet Sitting + Dog Walking is covered by a commercial bonding and liability insurance policy offered through Pet Sitters International – a highly respected pet sitting industry trade organization. We would be happy to show you a copy of our policy upon request.
When do you walk dogs? Do you do weekends?
That is up to you! We understand that depending on your schedule your pooch may need a walk in the late morning, mid-day, or even the late afternoon. We are flexible to provide the care that your pooch needs, whether that be during the work week or on the weekend! We are also available if you have to work late, or need to head out of town on a trip. You can check out our Pet Sitting Services for more information on visits for extended periods.
How do I add an extra walk or cancel a walk?
It is quite easy! Call our office number before 8:30am and we will cancel your walk for the day. There are no penalties for canceled walks as long as we receive notice before 8:30am. If you need an extra walk, simply book at least a day before, and we will be happy to provide it. Our online scheduling system allows you to easily request or cancel visits with a few clicks of a mouse. We know you lead a life on the go, so we try to make pet care as easy and straightforward as possible!
When is payment due? What types of payment do you accept?
Our dog walking clients are sent a confirmation invoice at the beginning of each month. The client then has the choice of paying by credit card or E-check via PayPal, or sending a check to our business office. Payment in full is due by the end of the month, and can be paid in advance or regularly throughout the month, as long as full payment is received by the end of the month. Any credits will be applied to the following month’s services.
